Pool Repair Bids Top Agenda for Monday's Manchester Board Meeting

Public hearing on new sushi restaurant in Lafayette Center is also scheduled.

The Manchester Board of Aldermen is set to receive an update on bids for pool repairs at the Manchester Aquatic Center.

In January, the board was told that the bid for repairs to the pool increased from the initial estimate of $285,000 to $672,000. The project has since be re-evaluated, and its scope has changed entirely. The city will seek bids on the new plan, which is expected to result in substantial savings.

Other agenda items include the continuance of a public hearing for a new sushi restaurant at 471 Lafayette Center and consideration of a liquor license for Monsoon Vietnamese Restaurant.
