New Manchester Subdivision Waiting for Homebuyers

A new neighborhood is being built on Sulphur Spring Road, but more homes won't likely go up until there are buyers.

An escrow agreement was authorized at the Tuesday night  meeting for the Tuscan Valley subdivision.

Emergency legislation was enacted Tuesday night and the board voted unanimously to to approve the escrow bill, which is a pretty standard procedure according to city officials.

Currently, only one model home is built in the neighborhood.

City Engineer Ed Blattner said there is no time frame for when the additional seven homes will be built.

"I don't think he's building anymore until he has a buyer," Blattner tells Patch.
