Hwy 40 Lanes Closed at Mason Road

MoDOT is shutting down lanes on Highway 40 near Mason Road Saturday night.

MoDOT UPDATE/Jan. 29: 

Due to temperatures, MoDOT crews have not gotten the correct strength on the concrete repairs made Saturday to westbound Highway 40 west of Mason Road. MoDOT now projects opening the middle lane by 11 a.m. and the outside lane by 4 p.m. Sunday.

The is closing the right lane of westbound Highway 40 just west of Mason at 4 p.m. Saturday, according to a MoDOT news release.

According to the release, crews will then close a second lane at 6 p.m. The closures are so crews can make pavement repairs.

MoDOT stated that all lanes will reopen by 10 a.m. Sunday.

The release advises that drivers will experience delays during this work and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
