Fire Board Secretary Running Unopposed

West County EMS and Fire Protection District Board Secretary Robert Levine is up for re-election Tuesday.

Board Secretary Robert Levine is up for re-election April 5. Levine is running uncontested.

Levine, a 34-year resident of Manchester who works in sales for MADCO Printing, was elected to the West County EMS and Fire Protection District Board of Directors in 2001. He was most recently elected in 2005. Board members currently have six-year terms.

"Serving on the board has offered me an opportunity to give back to the community and to be a part of children's safety and prevention programs, which are especially important to me," Levine said.

The fire board race will be on the ballot in the official fire protection district such as Manchester, but not in the contracted areas such as Town and Country.
