The greatest challenge, I believe, is to see that the monies received by the city of Manchester addresses as many needs of the residents as is possible, without running a deficit budget.

The greatest challenge will be overcoming the negative impressions and moving forward with productive city business.

-John  Schrader, alderman candidate Ward 3

The biggest challenge will be to form a cohesive group in order to focus on the issues that are important to the residents and not spend time fighting with each other. In the last year or so, far too much time at board meetings has been spent fighting with each other. Unfortunately, such fighting does not serve the residents, does not provide a good image for the City of Manchester and does not demonstrate leadership from those elected to serve.

-Paul Hamill, alderman candidate Ward 1
