Aldermen Could Spend $1.5 Million on Pavement, $12K on Security Tuesday

Town and Country aldermen could vote to spend approximately $1.5 million for pavement projects throughout the city, plus $12K for city security Tuesday night. View the full agenda here.

The Town and Country Board of Aldermen is set to meet Tuesday night.

Aldermen will likely vote on whether to accept a bid of $12,245 for security improvements to the city's Municipal Building, plus a vote is expected whether to move forward with asphalt pavement services for approximately $1.4 million. An additional $43,470 for inspection services and materials testing for the asphalt services. The money is already budgeted for 2013 and would be used for pavement on various streets through out the city.
