Underage Man Wrestled Liquor Bottle From Gas Station Clerk, Police Say

Police said Tyler J. Miller of West County struggled with a worker in the convenience store and got away with the alcohol.

A 20-year-old man wrestled a liquor bottle away from a store clerk Thursday in Chesterfield, pushed the worker to the floor and left with the bottle, according to a police report.

Tyler J. Miller, 20, of the 900 block of Wynhaven Lane in West County just west of Queeny Park, was charged with second-degree robbery.

Chesterfield Police said Miller struggled over the liquor bottle with a clerk at the Mobil gas station, 14905 Clayton Road at Baxter Road.

Miller is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $20,000.
