Two Charged With Possessing Meth-Related Chemicals After West County Traffic Stop
St. Louis County Police said Robert Kath and Honesty Shelton had pseudoephedrine, which was to be used to make meth.
A man and woman from Sullivan face drug-related charges after a traffic stop in West County between Town and Country and Manchester.
Honesty Michelle Shelton, 27, of Sullivan, was charged June 6 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine precursor.
Robert James Kath, 47, also of Sullivan, was charged June 6 with possession of a meth precursor.

St. Louis County Police said that during a traffic stop June 23, 2012 at Weidman Road and Manchester roads, a search found pseudoephedrine in the vehicle. Police said Shelton, a backseat passenger, said the cold medication was hers and admitted she intended to use it to make meth.
Police said officers also found a container with trace amounts of meth, and Shelton said it was hers.

Shelton also told officers that Kath helped her obtain the pseudoephedrine, according to police.
Bail was set at $10,000 for Shelton.
Kath was arrested Tuesday after charges were filed, and is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail is set at $10,000.
