Town & Country Police Warn: Another Prowler Alert

Town and Country Police are issuing a second prowler alert within one week. In an email, police stated this is the second prowler call they have received on the same street within the past week.

According to the email alert, just before midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 22, a resident in the 13000 block of Mason Estates Court observed a subject wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt in the rear of the driveway. According to the alert, when the the suspect was spotted in car headlights, he ran west into a wooded area.

Last week, police said they had received three separate reports of suspicious people and vehicles in the area of Mason Estates Court, along with a report of an an attempted burglary on Feb. 5.

Police are urging residents to call 911 if they observe any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in their neighborhoods or contact at 314-737-4600.

Police said it is possible that this prowler lives in the immediate vicinity so anonymous tips may be given to the dispatch center or Sergeant Kranz.
