Danielle S. Derouin, 33, of the first block of Brookwood Road in Town and Country, was charged March 7 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender.
Town and Country Police said Derouin’s car was swerving between two lanes at about 1:24 a.m. July 8 on Interstate 270 at Clayton Road. When an officer pulled her over, he reported that she had a strong odor of alcohol and glassy and bloodshot eyes. The officer reported she told him she said she drank a bottle of wine.

After she performed poorly on sobriety tests, a breathalyzer test showed her blood-alcohol content measured at 0.214 percent, according to a court document.
Derouin was arrested last Wednesday on a warrant for the charge. She posted 10 percent of a $20,000 and was released the same day.
Previously, Derouin was found guilty of driving with excessive blood-alcohol content in 2010 in Des Peres, and pleaded guilty to DWI in 2003 in Kirkwood.
