Police Warn to Lock Car Doors After Recent Thefts

Town and Country police are reminding residents to lock their car doors after recent overnight thefts.

Town and Country police are alerting residents to recent thefts from vehicles and reminding them to lock their car doors.

Authorities sent out the details in an email this week.

Police said a number of unlocked cars in the Bryn Wyck neighborhood, between Conway and Ladue roads, had items stolen during the overnight hours of March 28.

The email also stated that several weeks ago police received reports of items being stolen from unlocked cars in the Cheshire Farm and Conway Road area.

Anyone with information on these thefts is asked to contact Town and Country Police Lieutenant Rick Kranz at kranzrg@town-and-country.org or 314-587-2860.

Police urge residents to call 911 if they observe any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in their neighborhoods or contact Town and Country police dispatch at 314-737-4600.

Anonymous tips can also be called in to St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
