Town and Country Theft Alert

Police are searching for a suspect after a purse was stolen in a school parking lot.

The following information was supplied by the .

According to police, a man stole a purse out of a vehicle around 8:00 a.m. Monday while a mother took her child into in the 3000 block of Ballas Road near Highway 40.

Investigators stated that the woman's stolen credit cards were used later that morning in the City of St. Louis.

Authorities believe the suspect is driving a silver Ford Escape.
