Town and Country Police Make Arrest in Recent String of Burglaries

Suspect, who is currently in jail, was arrested in 2006 for an earlier Town and Country burglary.

Town and Country police have made an arrest in a recent string of burglaries in the area.

Robert Lee Delp, Jr., 43, was arrested for three burglaries that took place April 30 in the 12000 block of Ballas Lane and May 22 in the 10 block of Country Aire Drive. Jewelry was stolen from all three homes.

Delp was apparently living in a halfway house in St. Louis at the time of the burglaries, said Town and Country Capt. Patrick Kranz. He was soon afterward incarcerated for violating terms of his probation for an earlier burglary conviction that originated in Town and Country in 2006.
