Town and Country Crime Alert

Police are searching for a man they say threw a rock through a window, but they are still unclear of his motive.

According to the , around 4:40 a.m. Friday, a man dressed in all white was seen running through a back yard in the 2700 block of Turnberry Park Lane. He was reportedly spotted just as an alarm call was being received in the 2400 block of Ballas Road.

At the Ballas Road home, police found that a landscaping stone had been thrown through a dining room window, shattering the glass and activating the alarm. 

Police said it is still unclear whether the person's motive was vandalism or to gain entry to the home.

Investigators believe that since the male was running west he either had a vehicle waiting around Long Meadows or Drace Park, or he lives in the immediate vicinity. 

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Town and Country Police Department by leaving a message or email for Detective Sergeant Rick Kranz.
