are asking for residents to report any suspicious activity as they search for suspects in what appears to be an attempted burglary.

Investigators said police responded to a residential alarm in the 14300 block of Manderleigh Woods Drive around 1:13 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived at the home, they found five exterior doors that had been tampered with, as if to be pried open.

Authorities said entry to the home was never gained, and police believe the alarm system activated and scared off the "would-be burglar(s)."
