Town and Country Burglary Suspect Arrested

A St. Louis man was arrested for allegedly stealing from two Town and Country doctors' offices, but police say he has a criminal record and has stolen from Town and Country before.

A St. Louis man was arrested for allegedly stealing from two Town and Country doctors' offices.

According to , Deandre D. Dugger, 24, of the 8800 block of Goodfellow Boulevard was arrested Wednesday. Investigators said Dugger is accused of stealing cellphones and cash from two private doctors’ offices located in the 3000 block of North Ballas Road.

Town and Country Police Captain Gary Hoelzer stated in an email that the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office issued warrants against Dugger for two counts of second degree burglary and two counts of felony stealing in connection to the thefts.

Hoelzer also stated Dugger was on parole for second-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.

Investigators said that prior to the thefts, Dugger was positively identified as the suspect for a burglary from a private office at  on May 13. Hoelzer said in that theft, a desk drawer was pried open and a Discover credit card and $40 in cash was stolen from an employee’s purse.

The stolen credit card was later used at the Conoco gas station at 10901 Old Halls Ferry Rd. and then attempted to be used at the Shop ‘n Save store at 3865 Gravois Ave, Hoelzer stated.
