Town and Country Burglary Alert

Police said suspects are forcing open doors in an effort to break into Town and Country homes.

Town and Country police are warning residents of a burglary and an attempted burglary this week.

Captain Gary Hoelzer stated in an email that the attempted burglary happened between 1:30 and 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Conway Village Drive. Hoelzer said an exterior door was forced open and the perpetrator(s) unsuccessfully attempted to enter the home through the interior garage door.

Police said another home was burglarized between 7:20 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Sunway Lane. Hoezler stated in that case, a rear door was pried open and jewelry was stolen from the master bedroom.

Hoelzer warns residents that any suspicious people or vehicles should be reported immediately by calling 911.
