Thieves Target Unlocked Cars in Manchester

Manchester police are investigating a number of reports by residents who had items stolen from unlocked vehicles.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Sept. 16: 1600 block Dalton Terrace

Stealing: A male called police to report that his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through. The victim stated his cell phone and cash were stolen from his vehicle.

Sept. 16: 300 block Autumn Creek

Tampering: A resident reported to police his vehicle had been broken into and tampered with. Nothing inside the vehicle was stolen.

Sept. 16: 1600 block Carman Manor Court

Stealing: A resident reported to police his vehicle was unlocked and items were stolen. This case is under investigation by the detective bureau.

Sept. 16: 1600 block Carman Glen Court

Stealing: Police received a call about items being stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight. This report will be forwarded to the detective bureau for review and possible follow-up investigation.
