Police Warn Thieves Target More Cars in Town and Country

Town and Country police issued a second email alert this week, warning residents of more thefts from cars in neighborhoods.

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department.

Friday, Town and Country police are alerting residents to more thefts from vehicles.

Authorities sent out the following details in the second email alert this week regarding such crimes.

Town and Country police stated they have taken at least six reports of stealing from unlocked vehicles.

The most recent thefts occurred along Ballas and Clayton Roads Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, the email stated. It said Hawthorne Estates, Ballas Woods Court, and Turnberry Park Place were targeted in the latest thefts.

"Once again we remind our residents to ensure all vehicles are locked and valuable removed," police stated in Friday's email alert.

Police urge residents to call 911 if they observe any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in their neighborhoods or contact Town and Country police dispatch at 314-737-4600.
