Chester Romelle Woods, 20, was arrested Sunday and was charged with second-degree murder and robbery in the shooting death of Maksimenko. He was not charged with being the actual gunman in the murder.

Woods, of the 2100 block of Rosebud Avenue in St. Louis County, is being held on $250,000 bail at the St. Louis County jail, according to police.

Rick Eckhard, spokesperson for the St. Louis County Police Department, said Crockett was arrested in Hillsdale Monday night, by Hillsdale police.

"Two other individuals are being sought for questioning as the investigation continues," Eckhard stated in a news release Tuesday.

Police are still looking for tips from the public.

"We believe four people are involved with this. Woods and three others. Right now, we only have the second person identified, Shermell Crockett. It's very possible there could be two more people involved, or not," Eckhard previously told Patch.
