Robbery In McDonalds Parking Lot Lands Two in Police Custody

A man said he was robbed at gunpoint in the McDonalds parking lot, near Manchester and Weidman roads Sunday evening.

Two people are in police custody after and a man said he was robbed at gunpoint in the  parking lot, near Manchester and Weidman roads Sunday evening.

The call came in to police around 5:15 p.m. of the armed robbery at the McDonalds at 14026 Manchester Road in unincorporated St. Louis County.

St. Louis County Police tell Patch the victim likely knew his assailants, who stole $50 from him. They said one man brandished a silver handgun.

Authorities were searching for a late-model, red Ford Explorer with four males inside, immediately after the reported robbery. 

According to investigators, the victim lives in the Prospect Creek Apartment complex off Weidman Road. Police did search that area for the suspects, and the area near as they canvassed after the reported robbery.

Late Sunday night, St. Louis County Police told Patch two suspects had been located and were in custody. They did not think the other two in the vehicle at the time of the reported robbery actually participated in the crime.
