Police Recover Stolen Gift Cards, Searching For Owners

The Town and Country Police Department has recovered stolen gift cards and is now looking for their rightful owners to come forward and claim them.

The Town and Country Police Department has recovered stolen gift cards and is now looking for their rightful owners to come forward and claim them.

Police said in a news release that the cards were found as a result of the investigation and subsequent arrest of Jeremy Burkhalter last week.

Burkhalter was taken into custody by Town and Country police after authorities had been searching for him in connection to dozens of thefts across the St. Louis area.

Police said a large number of the gift cards recovered by investigators have not yet been claimed.

Any residents who had gift cards stolen from their vehicles throughout the last few weeks are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Rick Kranz at 314-587-2860 or email him at kranzrg@town-and-country.org.
