Police Investigating ID, Business Theft

Manchester police are investigating after a resident found fraudulent charges on his credit card and a business owner found an unauthorized check written from his account.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Forgery: A local store owner contacted police to report a check was written on his business account that had not been authorized.

Identity Theft: Detectives are investigating after a resident reported his credit card number had been used to make several unauthorized purchases. Police said the resident still had the card in his possession during the time the fraudulent purchases were made.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Manchester Police Department at 636-527-9200.
