Police Blotter: Vandalism and Cheesecake, Cellphone Thefts

Instead of paying less than $2, a man reportedly puts cheesecake in his pants in this most recent version of Manchester police blotter.

June 14: 700 block of Hanna Road

Property damage: Someone spray-painted on two picnic tables and a barbecue grill of a local business. Damage is estimated a $500.

June 10: 400 block of Lafayette Center

Stealing: A business called police after a man reportedly put a piece of cheesecake in his pants pocket and then left the store without paying for the dessert. The value of the stolen cake is $1.79.

June 10: 800 block of Meramec Station

Stealing: A man told police his cellphone was stolen while he was swimming. The man said he never saw anyone go near his belongings so there is no suspect. The estimated value of the stolen phone is $100.
