Police Blotter: Items Stolen From Unlocked Cars

In the most recent Town and Country police blotter, a reminder to lock car doors as thieves make little effort to make off with peoples' possessions.

May 7: 13800 block of Clayton Road

Stealing: Police said three vehicles had items stolen from them. The cars may have been unlocked because there were no signs of forced entry. No word on what was stolen or the value of the items.

May 7: 13969 Manchester Road

Bank Robbery: Police said the UMB Bank was robbed at approximately 11:30 a.m.. Investigators said the robber walked into the bank, displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money. The man fled in a silver vehicle with an undetermined amount of cash.

May 7: 1100 block of Chatsworth Place 

Stealing: Investigators said credit cards and other personal items were stolen from a car, however there was no sign of forced entry.

May 7: 2200 Block of Cedar Valley Drive 

Stealing: Police said the back window was broken out of a vehicle and personal items were taken. No word on the actual items or the value of what was stolen.

May 6: 13500 Block of South Outer Forty Drive 

Stealing: Police said they received a report of a possible theft from a car that was unlocked, but it is unknown if anything was taken.
