UPDATE: One Dead After Town and Country Crash

Crash report released after fatal crash in Town and Country that shut down Highway 141.

UPDATED: 12:35 a.m. Sunday-

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the name of the driver killed in Saturday's crash on Highway 141 at Conway Road. 

Brian A. Kraus, 49, of St. Louis died after his car struck a light pole head on, according to the MSHP crash report. The report states Kraus was traveling northbound on Highway 141 when he struck the pole. Debris from his car then struck two other cars stopped at that intersection. No one in the two other cars was injured.

The crash was reported at 12:24 p.m., Saturday. Kraus was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person is dead after a fatal crash in Town and Country.

Town and Country Police Captain Gary Hoelzer tells Patch the crash happened around 12:30 p.m., Saturday at the intersection of Conway Road and Highway 141, just north of Highway 40.

Hoelzer said only one person was in the car heading northbound on Hwy 141 when the male driver struck a stoplight at the intersection.

That driver was killed. There are no other injuries, according to police.

The driver's name has not yet been released.

The crash shut down Hwy 141 as crews cleaned up the scene. The road has since reopened.

The and Missouri State Highway Patrol were also on scene.
