Meet Manchester's New Police Officers

Meet two of the Manchester Police Department's recent additions: Officer Joseph Carroll and Officer John Easton.

This week, Manchester Police Chief Tim Walsh introduced two of his newer officers to the Manchester Board of Aldermen, the mayor and other city leaders.

The following details were provided by the Manchester Police Department about officers John Carroll and John Easton.

Officer Joseph Carroll-

Officer Carroll is twenty-five years old and has lived in St. Louis his entire life. His father was a St. Louis City police officer and he had a lot of influence on Joe's choice of profession. He attended St. Mary's High School, St. Louis Community College and finally Southeast Missouri State University where he received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. After college he attended the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy and graduated in December of 2011. He adds that he finds his job to be very rewarding and is happy to be working here.

Officer John Easton-

Officer Easton lives in Eureka. He worked in the information technology field for 31 years. He has a bachelors degree in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a masters degree in business administration from Santa Clara University. He graduated from the Eastern Missouri Police Academy in July of 2012 and received the academy's Physical Fitness Award for his class.
