Police Searching For Man Who Tampered With Soup at Dierbergs

Manchester police released surveillance video of a man they believe may have put an unknown substance in the soup at a Manchester Dierbergs salad bar.

According to Manchester police, witnesses saw a man adding something to a pot of soup at the salad bar of the Dierbergs at 421 Lafayette Center.

The alleged incident happened around Thursday.

Police tell Patch that customers alerted store staff and the soup was pulled from the salad bar immediately, but police don't know who the man is or what he put in the soup.

Surveillance video posted on KMOV.com shows the man dumping something into the soup and the man leaving the store. Police tell Patch they want to talk to him in connection to this incident and need help from the public to identify him.

He's described by police being 50 to 60 years old with a heavy build and a light beard.
