Manchester Police said Edmonds was riding a motorcycle at night  with his headlight off on July 3, 2011. An officer said he was swerving and failed to stay on half the roadway in the 1100 block of Sulphur Spring Road.

An officer pulled Edmonds over and noticed he had strong odor of alcohol and watery and bloodshot eyes. The officer said Edmonds admitted to having “way too many beers.”

Edmonds did poorly on a sobriety test and refused to take a breathalyzer, according to the police report.

Edmonds had two previous DWI convictions. He pleaded guilty to DWI Feb. 12, 2009 and on Feb. 6, 2008,

He posted 10 percent of a $25,000, cash-only bond and was released from jail on Feb 7, the same day he was arrested after being charged in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
