Manchester fire crews responded to a car accident with a ruptured gas line and a house fire Wednesday.

Manchester fire crews responded to a car accident with a ruptured gas line and a house fire Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Jeff Sadtler with tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch that there were no injuries in either call.

Fire crews were first called to a car accident at Highway 141 and Dutch Mill Road Wednesday morning. Sadtler said one car broadsided another and a gas tank was ruptured. Fire crews sprayed foam around the scene to avoid a fire or explosion.

Crews were later called to a house fire around 4:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Lynwood Forest Drive. Sadtler said the fire actually started on the deck which was attached to the home and extended into the house. The homeowner was at home when the blaze broke out and was able to get out of the home safely.
