Police Investigate Tree Service That Didn't Finish Job

Plus, Manchester police are investigating after a bad check was written to buy Six Flags tickets.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

July 11: 300 block Jamboree

Stealing: Victim reported giving a company a check for tree service to be completed. Partial work was done, but the job was never finished. As previously reported by Patch, another resident reported a similar situation in regard to having a garage repaired. That resident paid in advance and never received any repair work.

July 12: 400 block Lafayette Center

Passing Bad Check- Stealing: A business reported someone passed a bad check after purchasing Six Flags Tickets.  The check was returned to the store with an invalid account number. The detective bureau is investigating.

July 12: 100 block Highlands Boulevard Drive

Fraud Use of Credit/Debit Device: A resident reported his wallet was stolen and his credit card was being used because he received unauthorized charges.  The detective bureau is investigating.
