Manchester Businesses Targeted By Thieves

Bad checks, missing money and shoplifting all reported to Manchester police in recent crime reports.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Stealing: Police were called to the Manchester Highlands Walmart after staff reported a man concealing items and leaving the store. Police arrested one person.

Nov. 2: 200 block Highlands Boulevard Drive

Stealing: Two men were arrested as they left the Manchester Highlands Walmart for shoplifting. 

Nov. 5: 14000 block Manchester Road

Stealing: Police are investigating after a local store reported to police that a cash drop was missing.  

Nov. 5: 800 block Garonne Drive

Passing Bad Check: Detectives are investigating after a two bad checks were written for services rendered. The victim said both checks were returned due to a closed account.
