Thieves Steal $2,000 in Property While Residents Are Out of Town

Manchester police report one resident had more than $2,000 worth of property stolen while out of town, another had cars vandalized while on vacation.

August 2: 700 block Sulphur Spring Court  

Property Damage: A car was reportedly vandalized while its owner was on vacation. A person watching a house for the victim noticed the damage and contacted police. The car was parked in the driveway at the time of the vandalism. No word on the cost to repair the damage. 

August 5: 900 block Imperial Point 

Burglary/Theft: A resident called police to report that while a family was out of town, their home was broken into, vandalized and items worth $2,060 were stolen. This is an active investigation.  

August 6: 1000 block Big Bend Station Court 

Property Damage: Detectives are investigting after a resident reported damage to three vehicles parked in the driveway overnight.
