Elementary Student Approached by Men in Van, Police Investigating

Manchester police are reportedly investigating after a Hanna Woods Elementary School student says two men told her to get in their van as she rode her bike home from school.

According to KSDK.com, a Hanna Woods Elementary School student says she was approached by two men in a van around 3:25 p.m. Tuesday as she rode her bike home from school.  

Parkway School District officials confirm the report. A letter is included in this article that the district sent home to Hanna Woods parents Tuesday about the alleged incident.

The incident happened along Queensbridge Road where the men reportedly told her to get into their van. However, the girl made it home safely.

KSDK stated that Manchester police confirm this incident was reported and are expected to release more details of the investigation. Patch has reached out to the Manchester Police Department for additional information and will update this story if it is received.

The KSDK article also stated that Principal Patrick Shelton said the two men were in a white cargo van with a dent in the driver's side door. Shelton is asking anyone who parked on or drove on Queensbridge Road around 3:25 p.m. Tuesday to contact the Manchester Police Department at 636-227-1410.
