Theft Arrests at Manchester Businesses

Manchester police report making a number of arrests after recent thefts at Walmart and Kohl's.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

August 17: 200 block Highlands Blvd. Drive

Stealing: An employee was discovered on video surveillance stealing cash from the Manchester Highlands Walmart by store security. Manchester police are attempting to locate and arrest the individual.

Stealing: Manchester Highlands Walmart loss prevention staff contacted police with a delayed shoplifting report. The case has been turned over to the detective bureau for further investigation.

August 19: 100 block Highlands Blvd. Drive

Stealing: A person who was seen shoplifting fled when approached by store staff.  The suspect has been identified and efforts are being made to locate and arrest the person.

August 21: 600 block Big Bend Road

Pass Bad Check: Payment issued for goods received was returned unpaid. Efforts to contact the person who wrote the check have been unsuccessful.  The matter has been turned over to the detective bureau for investigation.

August 23: 14400 block Andersohn Drive

Stealing: One person was arrested after being stopped for shoplifting from the Manchester Kohl's store.

August 25: 200 block Highlands Blvd. Drive

Stealing: Two people were arrested after stealing several pieces of merchandise from the Manchester Highlands Walmart.

August 26: 200 block Highlands Blvd. Drive

Stealing: One person was arrested after being stopped for shoplifting from the Manchester Highlands Walmart.
