Crime Alert: Police Connect Recent Daytime Town and Country Burglaries

Someone is forcing their way into Town and Country homes during daytime hours when many residents are at work.

The following information was supplied by the .

Town and Country Police stated in an email alert that a home was burlgarized in the 900 block of Claymark Drive between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. Investigators found numerous flatblade pry marks at the door determined to be the point-of-entry, however the thief actually gained entry by breaking glass on the door, reaching in and unlocking it.

The entire home was scoured for valuables, according to the email alert.

Authorities stated in the alert that numerous pieces of jewelry and silverware were taken, along with a laptop and two pillow cases.

"This fits the M.O. of Both homes were on residential streets off of Clayton Road," the email stated. Forced entry was also made in that crime, through a rear window of the home in the 3000 block of Thornbury Drive.
