Update: Crime Alert For West County Residents

The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police are warning residents about a series of burglaries and thefts from vehicles throughout West County, including Town and Country. 

Ballwin police say the man shown on the surveillance video photo included in this story is responsible for more than 50 crimes ranging from residential burglaries to car theft.

Meanwhile, according to the , the person seen in the photo was referenced in an alert last week.

According to investigators, a police pursuit in St. Louis resulted in the recovery of a credit card stolen out of a Town and Country resident's car parked in the Strathmore neighborhood near Clayton and Weidman roads.

Similar thefts are continuing in the West County area, including early Thursday morning along Ballas Road in Des Peres.

Police are encouraging residents to lock their car doors and remove or conceal any items of value.

People are also advised to lock all outside doors of their homes and their garages.

Anyone noticing suspicious activity in or around their neighborhoods are asked to call 911 immediately.
