Reported Incident.

I recently reported items missing from my home and because I wasnt sure of the point of entry, the officer took the information and said thew would keep an eye on the area. Its difficult when someone is getting into your place when they know you are not home. This person knows when I leave, and come home. When I first took residency here my neighbor's relative would come outside and stare me down, she even went across the street and took a picture when I had the garage open and moving things in. The police dont want to know about this they sent someone here to check me out. My neighbor went into my mailbox when I was fixing the place and brought it over and I asked her not to get my mail. I caught her looking in my front door when I had a person working on my place. She would even walk around my place looking in the windows which took it too far.At that point I wasnt moved in yet so when I was downtown I went to the police station and spoke to someone on the phone. Since I cant call the police if anything happens here I guess I will just vent. When things began to be missing here I didnt call police right away then I had to. He wanted to know what kind of things were missing and I told him, and what was missing last and I told him the truth. There were 2 new camasoles. I said underclothes which made me look real good. Tonight I came home from work and it had snowed yesterday so when I left earlier I cleaned my car off and left. When I got back there were footprints very close to my front window and they led all the way around my house. Now I cant call police because they think Im nuts. By the way a few months ago I asked the lady next door to please have her daughter stop looking in my windows as I am very uncomfortable. She said I will tell her to stop.I found the point of entry that this person has been getting but I think shes got her mind made up to get in again. What can I do I have no protection?????  Oh and she even said to me why havent you fixed your doorbell yet? The prior owner fixed it whenever it didnt work. I guess she wants to know when Im home or not...
