Kids’ Winning Invention to Help Seniors Improve Quality of Life Earns them Spot at International Competition in St. Louis

Kids' Winning Invention to Help Seniors Improve Quality of Life Earns them Spot at International Competition in St. Louis, local BrightStar Care to host reception to honor these young inventors.

A welcome reception hosted by BrightStar Care will
be held Wednesday April 24th from 4-5:30pm at The Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch to honor “The Determinators,” a group of 10-13 year olds from Atlanta who
will be competing against other young inventors from 25 states and over 30
countries at the First Lego League World Festival in St. Louis. Inspired by the
theme to help make senior lives’ easier, the group of child inventors
conceptualized and produced the “E-Z Inflatable,” a wedge-shaped air cushion
that helps senior citizens get out of their chairs easily.

The Determinator's said:

"When BrightStar said yes to our proposal to be a corporate sponsor, the room was going CRAZY!!! The room cooled down, and we all shouted “Thank You!”

"Most of us have never been much farther west than Alabama, so St. Louis will be a big treat. The competition in Missouri will be held from April 24th to the 27th. This year was lots of fun, but also had tons of hard-work and effort put into it. The EZ Inflatable is being developed into a next generation prototype, which will be presented in full detail at the St. Louis World Festival."

The welcome reception will include a demonstration
and presentation of the “E-Z Inflatable,” educating the attendees on how the
device works to help improve senior’s lives.
