This Japanese delicacy traces its roots to the Fourth Century B.C. in Southeast Asia, when fish was stored with rice for preservation purposes, according to Sushi-Master.com, a website that specializes in Sushi.
Centuries later, many sushi eateries have made their way across the United States and St. Louis. Although price varies from restaurant to restaurant, sushi is considered by many as a fine dish, sometimes associated with business meetings or such other occasions.
