Lawyer: West County Montessori Targeted for Child-Shaking

An attorney for the school reportedly said three teachers were fired sometime shortly after the alleged incident.

The Missouri Department of Social Services is investigating an incident where one or more teachers may have been responsible shaking a young child at outside Manchester, KMOV reports.

A lawyer for the school, Charles Elbert, said the incident was reported through the state's child abuse and neglect hotline, the TV station reported. Elbert also reportedly said three staff members were fired following the allegations, but declined to day whether those firings were directly related.
