Last Chance: Weekend Walk at Queeny Park Helps Kids

Our new 'Last Chance' feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

This weekend is the last chance to participate in the at to benefit Annie’s Hope – The Bereavement Center for Kids.

The organization offers support services to children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of "someone significant." 

Saturday's 5K run starts at 8 a.m. and the fun walk starts at 8:15 a.m.

You can register online here or you can register the day of the event.

Individual entry fees are $25 by March 28 and $30 if you register on-site at the race. Family entry fees are $60 if registered by March 28, or $65 on race day.

Strollers are welcome, but bikes, rollerblades and pets will not be allowed.
