Wonder What's Moving in Next to Weekends Only?

It's the new Nordstrom Rack store and right now construction is scheduled to be complete by the end of March.

Have you noticed the construction right next door to Manchester's Weekends Only store at the intersection of Manchester Road and Highland's Boulevard Drive?

Franz Kraintz, Manchester's director of planning, zoning and economic development, tells Patch it's the future site of the new Nordstrom Rack store. Brinkman Constructors is the builder for the project.

Kraintz said the city was initially told the building had to be complete by the end of March, but looking at the current progress, he is not sure the deadline will be met.

As previously reported by Patch, this will be the third Nordstrom Rack store to open in the St. Louis metro area.

Nordstrom Rack is an “off-price” division of Nordstrom’s department stores and will offer merchandise at 30 to 70 percent off retail price.
