Town and Country Moving Forward With New Restaurant, Neighborhood

Plans have been approved for Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant in Town and Country Crossing and plans for a new neighborhood behind the shopping center.

At the most recent Town and Country Board of Aldermen meeting, aldermen approved the architectural review and site development plan so Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant can build an eatery and move into the Town and Country Crossing shopping center. The new restaurant plans to move into the shopping center this fall, next to the fountain.

"We loved the fact that they had entrance from the parking," said Alderman Phil Behnen, who sits on the architectural review board. He also said architectural review board members were excited about the outdoor seating bringing more customer traffic to that part of the shopping center. "We're really looking forward to it."

In addition, aldermen gave the go-ahead for plans for a new neighborhood, Estates at Town and Country Crossing. Aldermen approved the preliminary site development plan and the architectural review last week. The residential development is set to include 69 single-family lots. As previously reported by Patch, developer Pulte Homes withdrew its application to build this new subdivision near Town and Country Crossing in October.
