New Restaurant, Online Ticket Payment Before Aldermen Monday
Town and Country aldermen discuss outdoor seating for a new restaurant coming to Town and Country Crossing, plus could approve online traffic ticket payments Monday night. View full agenda here.
The Town and Country Board of Aldermen meets Monday night.
Aldermen are set to discuss more plans, including the outside seating/patio plans, for Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant. The new restaurant is set to move into the Town and Country Crossing shopping center this fall.
Aldermen will also likely vote on the city beginning a program where it would accept payments of fees for traffic tickets, court costs and other related matters online. If passed by aldermen, the city would enter into an agreement with TrafficPayment.com. As previously reported by Patch, City Financial Director Betty Cotner said it would help the city collect more fees by making it easier for people to pay tickets. No word yet on when the online service would be available if approved by aldermen.
