"Patch" has rounded up the top ten toys on almost every child's list.

Nintendo 3DS (ages 6+)

This portable, handheld entertainment system now comes in 3-D without the need for glasses. The graphics may be turned down to reduce the 3D effect to any level or turned off completely with the built-in 3-D depth slider to play games in 2-D. It also has a built-in motion sensor and gyro sensor can react to the motion and tilt of the system. The Nintendo 3DS also has a built-in camera.

The Lalaloopsy doll has crazy, wild hair that bends for styling. It curls, twist and can be straightened. There are different Lalaloopsy characters for your child's different interests, including Blossom Flowerpot, Tippy Tumblelina and Misty Mysterious.

The Monster High dolls: Frankie Stein, Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Laguna Blue, Ghoulia Yelps, Cleo de Nile and Deuce Gordon are inspired by fictional characters in horror movies and books. The dolls are said to be relatives of famous monsters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, Medusa, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Phantom of the Opera, zombies and the Wolf Man. There are also accessories, fashion sketch pads and totes, apparel and more for Monster High dolls.

Nerf Vortex Nitron Blaster (ages 8+)

When your little soldiers are playing on the battlefield, the Nerf Vortex Nitron Blaster, which comes with 20 discs in its magazine and a full auto acceleration trigger, helps them succeed in their mission. They can fire manually with the launch trigger for accuracy, or blast a barrage of shots at their target by holding the acceleration trigger and launch trigger at the same time. The blaster gives shooters the ability to load and store an extra 20-disc magazine in the blaster stock's storage compartment. The magazine release lever allows shooters to drop out the empty clip and then put in the loaded one.

Elf on the Shelf Book (ages 4-8)

The original Elf on the Shelf, according to legend, serves as Santa's eyes and ears and at night travels back to the North Pole to let Santa know who has been naughty and who has been nice. This gift set includes a North Pole pixie elf, hardbound children's book and keepsake box. Children can register their elf online and receive a special response from Santa, as well as online access to fun holiday games and activities. The pixie elf is available in light skin tone/blue eyes and darker skin tone/brown eyes.
