Patch Picks - Mother's Day Brunch

If you would like to treat mom to a decadent and delicious meal, "Patch" has found some great places serving brunch for Mother's Day.

in Town and Country
Seating: A breakfast buffet will be offered from 8 to 10 a.m.. A brunch buffet will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: The cost for the breakfast buffet is $13.95 for adults and $7.95 for children. The cost for the later brunch is $19.95 for adults and $10.95 for children younger than 10. Children younger than 2 are free.
Fare Offered: A delicious array of food will be served, including roast beef au jus, baked salmon, glazed ham, assorted salads, chilled shrimp, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, hash brown casserole, french toast, pastries, desserts and fresh fruit. Meal includes coffee, tea, soft drinks and juice. The earlier brunch will offer classic hot and cold breakfast fare. Reservations are highly recommended.

Lola's  North 14th Street
Seating: Brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: There is no cover charge, just the cost of menu items.
Fare: Bloody Marys and mimosas are on hand. Check the menu for food items. Enjoy the sounds of Mo Egeston's Soul Alliance trio featuring CocoSoul. Mo (Maurice) and Sean will do a set of nu jazz, bossa and house at 11 a.m., and CocoSoul will be on stage by noon.

Cielo at the Four Seasons Hotel on Second Street
Seating: The Mother's Day menu will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: The cost for adults is $75 and $37 for  children ages 5 to 12, children younger than 4 may enjoy a complementary meal. The price includes coffee, but taxes and gratuity are extra.
Fare Offered: Food served includes a seafood station with salmon, tuna, shrimp, oysters and crab, accompanied with sauces like horseradish cream, vodka-lime cream, roasted garlic aioli and mango curry. The buffet will have a made-to-order egg station as well as a carving station with prime rib of beef and creamed horseradish, whole salmon baked in lemon-herb salt crust and leg of lamb roulade with rosemary pecorino cheese, green peppercorn and grappa sauce. There will be a salad station as well as hot foods and amazing desserts.

Orlando Gardens in Webster Groves
Seating: Available seatings are a 10 and 10:30 a.m., noon, 12:30 and 2 p.m..
Cost: The cost for adults is $23.95, the cost for children younger than 10 is $11.95 and children younger than 2 eat free. Cost includes a flower for mom.
Fare Offered: There will be omelet, pasta and stir fry stations, as well as a carved top round of beef au jus, honey-baked ham, smoked salmon, sea bass, eggs and breakfast meats, desserts and a chocolate fountain.

Harry's Restaurant and Bar on Market Street in St. Louis
Seating: Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested.
Cost: The cost is $25.95 per person. Children 12 years of age and younger pay $11.95.
Fare: Enjoy a glass of champagne and a great view of downtown St. Louis from Harry's patio. The buffet will have an omelet station, honey baked ham, peel-and-eat shrimp, prime rib, turkey, all of the breakfast items you can think of and much more.

Coronado Mother's Day Brunch in the Central West End  314-367-4848
Seating: Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with seatings on the half hour.
Cost: The cost is $48 per adult and $22 per child (ages 4-10). Valet parking is included, plus tax and gratuity.
Fare Offered: A carving station stocked with prime rib, a made-to-order omelet and waffle station as well as fresh seafood, house-made pastries and amazing desserts will be offered for brunch. The Coronado will also have a children's buffet for the kids.

The Ritz-Carlton in Clayton
Seating: Brunch will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations are required.
Cost: The cost for adults is $75 and $37.50 for children ages 3 to 10. Children 2 and younger are free.
Fare Offered: Chefs will prepare grilled tenderloin medallions, pan-fried breaded scallops and omelets to order. Buffet tables will be stocked with smoked salmon, glazed ham, roasted turkey, caviar, cheeses, breads and desserts.

Bartolino's on South Lindbergh and Bartolino's Osteria on Sulphur Avenue
Seating: Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are suggested.
Cost: The cost for adults is $24.95, children younger than 10 years old are half price.
Fare Offered: Great foods like roast beef, chicken spedini, salads, pastas, shrimp cocktail, eggs, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, breakfast meats, and fruit and cheese platters will be served. Coffee and tea is included.
