Five Guys Closes in Town and Country

It only opened in 2008, but now Five Guys Burgers and Fries is closed in Town and Country Crossing.

Leslie Melton, assistant property manager for Town and Country Crossing tells Patch closed last week, on Feb. 23.

The restaurant opened in the shopping center in November 2008, according to Melton.

The restaurant was part of the Five Guys nationwide franchise.

Calls from Patch to Five Guys corporate office for a comment on why the restaurant closed were not returned Tuesday.

Melton said as far as the Town and Country location, it is not immediately available to be leased out because it just closed, but it would be an ideal location for another restaurant in the future.

"It would be a perfect location for a restaurant. It's basically off our lake, it's near other restaurants, so it's kind of a perfect spot for anyone who's interested in leasing or opening a restaurant, or any business for that matter," Melton tells Patch.

Currently, there are 28 businesses in Town and Country Crossing, but Melton said the shopping complex can hold up to 45 businesses.
