Climatron and Cocktails Happy Hour at the Missouri Botanical Garden

The Young Friends of the Missouri Botanical Garden and Young Friends of St. Louis Public Radio have teamed to offer a tropical summer happy hour at the Garden! Enjoy Climatron®and Cocktails on Tuesday, June 14 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Mix and mingle with other young professionals inside the Climatron’s lush tropical rain forest. Savor a complimentary appetizer buffet, sip on specialty tropical cocktails provided by Purus Vodka and enjoy a cash bar. Cost is $30 per person and $15 for Missouri Botanical Garden or St. Louis Public Radio members. Advance registration is required; call (314) 577-9570 or visit www.mobot.org/membership/YoungFriends. Young Friends of St. Louis Public Radio is a supportive group of young adults, college students and young professionals who are committed to promoting St. Louis Public Radio in the greater St. Louis area. Through a wide range of special events and interactive forums, the Young Friends rally for increased appreciation of St. Louis Public Radio and the service it provides to the community. Funds raised through the efforts of this diverse and progressive group are used primarily to support programming for the station, and to increase the Young Friends’ outreach in St. Louis and its surrounding communities.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is located at 4344 Shaw Blvd. in south St. Louis, accessible from Interstate 44 at the Vandeventer exit and from Interstate 64 at the Kingshighway North & South exit. Free parking is available on-site and two blocks west at the corner of Shaw and Vandeventer.
