The Cooperating School Districts late Tuesday released preliminary figures showing a district by district breakdown of how many students had transferred from the Riverview Gardens and Normandy school districts.

A total of 102 students had transferred from the unaccredited districts to Parkway. Those figures are not final. A little more than 300 students who did not get placed in their first, second or third choice districts are still in the process of getting placed.

In addition, KSDK and other news outlets are reporting that lawsuits could soon be filed to force Mehlville and Kirkwood, the districts identified by Riverview Gardens where transportation would also be provided, to accept all who requested a transfer.
